Gautam Dogra, DDS
Dr. Gautam Dogra moved to Sacramento to pursue his dream of opening a dental office and helping people with beautiful smiles. He loves being able to create long lasting relationships with his patients. Dr. Dogra prides himself in being extremely gentle, caring and compassionate.
After having first completed a five year dental program in India, he obtained his California Dental Licensure at the prestigious Loma Linda University in Southern California. With over 14 years of experience in General and Cosmetic Dentistry, he has been providing excellent dental care to the communities of Northern California for more than 10 years now.
Dr. Dogra is constantly aspiring to master the latest technologies in dentistry. He is certified in Oral Conscious Sedation which makes him capable of making your dental experience extremely comfortable. Over the years he has trained under some of the best known cosmetic dentists and learned advanced skills in Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics and Oral Surgery. He is married to his beautiful wife Svati, of 8 years and they love spending time outdoors

Ava Navasero, DDS
Dr. Ava Navasero brings 8 years of experience in dentistry, including the past 4 years serving patients in Sacramento. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 2017 after completing her undergraduate studies in Biology and Biochemistry at Carleton College. She later completed a residency in Half Moon Bay, California, and has been dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care ever since.
Passionate about restorative and aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Navasero believes that skill and compassion go hand in hand when caring for patients. Having once been nervous about visiting the dentist herself, she understands the importance of comfort and communication. She takes the time to explain the “what, how, and why” behind each treatment, helping patients feel informed and at ease throughout their visits. She is also furthering her education at the Kois Center and is working toward certification in dental sleep medicine to bring the latest advancements in care to her patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Navasero and her husband—also a dentist—enjoy being active in the Sacramento community. They can often be found bouldering at Pipeworks, picking up pastries at PastryCat, or sharing a pizza at Majka. At home, she enjoys time with their two black cats, sewing, caring for houseplants, experimenting with cocktails, and playing video games.

Jose is our incredible registered dental assistant who leads the team in the back office to ensure that everything runs smoothly. His love and dedication to helping others allow him to make his patient feel relaxed and comfortable when they are on the dental chair. He looks forward to creating a good relationship with his patients.
Jose has been on the Confident Smiles team for over six years, filled with experience. He takes pride and is very responsible in his work and personal life.
Aside from helping others achieve their beautiful smile, he enjoys spending time with his family. Born and raised in Sacramento, California, he loves traveling (especially to Mexico.)

Sandra is our amazing schedule coordinator that handles our entire patient’s scheduling with care. With her eight years of experience in the dental field, she exceeds her skill to ensure our patient’s experience is as hassle-free as possible. She has a strong passion for helping others, beginning with her smile as she greets her patients as they walk through the door.
She has been on the Confident Smile team for four years, managing and arranging to schedule, booking appointments, explaining patient’s treatment plans, and ensuring that each patient is attended with the same love and care.
Sandra has been raised in the bay area and living in the Sacramento area for nearly ten years, and has grown to love the community she resides in. Aside from tending to her patients, she absolutely loves being a mom! She is a huge fan of the San Francisco 49ers. She enjoys being outdoor with nature, running, riding bikes. Baking cakes and cooking Mexican food is her specialty. Above all, she loves spending time with her family.

Registered Hygienist
Teena is our kindhearted registered dental hygienist who has a passion for connecting with her patients and loves educating them on maintaining a beautiful, healthy smile. She has been in the dental healthcare field for nearly two decades, four years as a dentist in India and thirteen years as a hygienist in the United States.
She has been on the Confident Smiles team for six years, helping our patients with initial patient screening, performing professional cleanings, and advising patients on oral health on practicing oral care and preventative care. Teena is happy to share her dental knowledge and help you understand the recommended treatments.
On her time off, Teena enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, consisting of her two little ones and their pet dog.

Dental Assistant
Luca is our hardworking dental assistant that believes patient care comes first, and making their dental experience a comfortable one is the number one priority. He has been in dental care for more than a year but has strived to go above and beyond when he can. He has been on the Confident Smiles team for half a year by assisting with treatments and procedures. He enjoys seeing patients showing off their big, healthy smiles.
In his free time, Luca is fascinated by different cultures and languages worldwide, gaining him the knowledge to speak in four languages. Music has always been a massive part of his life that led him to be a drummer for cover band years ago. Luca likes to keep himself busy by playing soccer, tennis, and many other sports.

Insurance Coordinator
Angel is our sweet and caring insurance coordinator that goes above and beyond helping her patients. Her expertise allows her to help the patient fully understand how their insurance works and provide thorough clarity on claims and billing. She has been in the dental field for three decades.
She has been on the Confident Smiles team for four years, coordinating insurance eligibility, insurance payments, submitting claims, and managing accounts receivable. Angel finds it rewarding watching many of the patients achieve their healthy, long-lasting smiles throughout the years.
Aside from providing patient care, she is happily engaged to be married and is a mother to one beautiful daughter. She enjoys sports, trying new food trends, listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
Skylar
Registered Hygienist
Skylar is our phenomenal registered dental hygienist with four years of dedicated practice, two of which have been right here with our incredible team at Confident Smiles! She's a graduate of the esteemed Sac City Dental Hygiene Program, bringing top-notch expertise to our office.
When she's not busy crafting beautiful smiles, you'll find her soaking up the sunshine with her friends, grooving to her favorite tunes, or unwinding by any body of water, be it the tranquil shores of a beach or the serene embrace of a lake.

Her dedication to patient care ensures exceptional experiences for all.
Beyond work, Eman, a devoted mother of two from Afghanistan, embodies compassion and generosity, nurturing patients and her family. She is known for her reliability and empathy and creates a comfortable environment for all. Eman enjoys family events, culinary experiments, and expanding her knowledge through books in her free time. Her deep love for her homeland is evident, as she cherishes every moment of traveling home to reunite with loved ones.
